Claude Parent & Paul Virilio: Architecture Principe n°9 rare magazine
First (and only) limited edition of Claude Parent & Paul Virilio’s ARCHITECTURE PRINCIPE manifesto. This issue #9 (December 1966) presents their proposal for the Charleville Cultural Center, bordering the river Meuse in France. This building was commissioned by the then mayor of the city of Charleville, France, who later dropped the project. It remains one of the most beautiful buildings produced by the collaboration of Claude Parent and Paul Virilio. This copy comes directly from Claude Parent’s archives.
12 pages + covers, black & white. Semi-gloss cover has some slight wear on the spine, but it’s in very good condition given its age and interior pages are in great condition.
